The Breckinridge Fees
The Breckinridge is not certified to participate in the Medicare or Medicaid programs. Although some long-term care insurance policies may cover the cost of care at The Breckinridge, the residents and their families are responsible for all fees and charges.
Assessment and Admission Fee: The Breckinridge charges an Assessment and Admission Fee that is payable when the resident is determined to be appropriate for admission to The Breckinridge and a room is available.
Monthly Resident Fee: Long-term residents are charged a Monthly Resident Fee which includes all meals, personal care services, housekeeping, laundry and activities. The Monthly Resident Fee does not include long distance telephone calls, medications, professional medical services, personal items such as toiletries, services provided by the private vendor in the beauty/barber shop, or services by The Breckinridge staff that are outside the scope of on-site personal care services. The Monthly Resident Fee and any extra expenses incurred by the resident are billed monthly.
Respite Care Fee: Respite Care residents are charged a daily rate, which is payable in full in advance. Respite Care residents are not required to pay a separate Assessment and Admission Fee.
